Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act
UNC Asheville is committed to maintaining a drug-free campus and promoting an environment free of illegal drug use and abuse of alcohol. The Office for Institutional Integrity and Access provides resources and distributes a report on compliance with the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act.
Drug and Alcohol Prevention Program (DAAPP)
UNC Asheville’s Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention Programs (DAAPP) seek to help students to develop mature and responsible attitudes toward legal drug and alcohol use while they are on campus so that they may continue to exercise healthy behaviors after leaving college.
