The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, or Clery Act, requires that UNC Asheville compile and distribute an Annual Security and Fire Safety Report (ASFSR) annually by October 1st.

The report contains information regarding campus security and personal safety, such as: crime prevention, fire safety, crime reporting policies, disciplinary procedures, and other matters of importance related to security and safety on campus. The report also contains information about crime and fire statistics for the three (3) previous calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by UNC Asheville; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from campus.

If you would like to receive a paper copy of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report, you can stop by the University Police Department located at Weizenblatt Hall, One University Heights, Asheville, NC 28801, or you can request a copy be emailed to you by calling 828.251.5000.
